I`m sure it`s not a record, but I gotta believe I have most of you beat in having been a member of the AMA now for 51 years.
Way back in the late 60`s when we got into hill climbing and enduro events, you had to become a member. I maintained my membership and years ago, became a "Lifetime" member.....(still requires annual dues to receive the mag, etc.).
I`ve always paid up to help support the legal battles that the AMA has gotten into over the years to fight against state and local and federal too.....regulations and restrictions that have been imposed on bike riders. The AMA has often won those battles and this has helped fellow riders maintain their rights to ride in otherwise restricted areas, etc.
